I'm pretty excited that these will be hitting the shelves soon. We tried lots of different characters narrowed it down to a few and then had a focus group vote on their favorites. Turns out that the kids overwhelmingly choose a duck-billed Cheesapus. 50% Mammal 50% Bird and 100% Cheese, good times.

I saw these in Save-A-lot today, and I laughed hysterically! Mainly because I always laugh at Cheetoes' knock-off products (because they never taste good) -- but because I think it was the first time I've ever seen a Platypus used as a food mascot! That's just, awesome! I'm a designer, too -- so I know what's involved with design (especially product packaging) -- I understand how much of a pain that a client can be. Anyhow, I am glad I came across the person that created the coolest food mascot, ever! I love the Platypus!
